Dr. Barnaby Dedmond – Orthopaedic surgeon / InventorDr. Dedmond is a practicing orthopaedic trauma surgeon in Columbia, South Carolina. His received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then stayed on at UNC-Chapel Hill to complete his medical degree, where he graduated with highest distinction.

Dr. Dedmond completed his orthopaedic residency at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina where he was named most outstanding resident across all specialties. He then completed his orthopaedic traumatology fellowship at Wake Forest University under the direction of Dr. Larry Webb.

Now in practice for over 10 years, Dr. Dedmond has been active in research and education. He has had his research published in the most prestigious orthopaedic journals including the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma and the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has also served on faculty at numerous orthopaedic conferences and symposia.
